Signal-Free Connectivity Across 18 km

With the flyover’s inauguration, an 18-kilometer stretch on Ring Road from Dhaula Kuan to Azadpur has become signal-free. Major flyovers along this stretch include Naraina Flyover, Mayapuri, Raja Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Moti Nagar, Chaudhary Brahm Singh, and Shalimar Bagh Flyovers. This development is expected to enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, and improve commuter convenience in West Delhi.

Delays Due to GRAP-4 Restrictions

While the flyover was initially scheduled for a November 2024 launch, construction was delayed due to GRAP-4 restrictions imposed to curb rising pollution levels in Delhi. Only minimal activities like electrical fittings and painting were allowed during this period, causing a one-month delay in the inauguration.
